Still Stories Challenge: A Reader in Every State
Still Stories is just a few weeks old — let’s see how far it can go.

We interrupt your scrolling to bring you a pause in all 50 states.
Since launching on June 1st, Still Stories has already reached readers in six states: Texas, California, Utah, Missouri, Alabama, and North Carolina. That may not sound like much, but for something this new — I’ll take it.
Now I’m setting a quiet challenge:
Let’s get a reader in every U.S. state.
Fifty dots on the map — one story at a time.
Help me put Still Stories in all 50 states in the USA. Subscribe now to receive new posts and support my work.
Honestly, I’d be thrilled if this reached beyond the U.S. too. A handful of readers scattered across the globe, each finding a familiar thread in a stranger’s story.
This isn’t about going viral. It’s about slow growth, shared memory, and meaningful connection.
The bones of this place are the same, but there’s a ghost now in the rafters.
Want to help?
→ Share it with your farthest away friends, your neighbors, & long-lost buds from school
→ Post a link in your local community group
→ Or just send a story to one person who might need a reason to slow down
These days, all of us could use a little breathing room — a reason to pause and remember. Maybe something you read here will stir a memory. Maybe it’ll inspire you to tell your own story.
If you’re the first reader in your state — or your country — let me know. I’ll be tracking it.
Let’s see if we can light up the whole map. Quietly. Steadily. One story at a time.
